Matthew Dubins graduated from Starfleet Marine Academy in 2360 at the top of his class. After serving as communications officer at the rank of Lieutenant junior grade at the Marine Base on Station 345 between 2360 and 2364, Dubins was promoted to Lieutenant Senior in 2364 was transferred aboard the USS Hood, serving as Second in Command of the Marine Unit between 2364 and 2369
Promoted to the rank of Major 2369, Dubins gained the position of commanding officer of the Marine Unit stationed on Mars, serving aboard the "Red Planet" between 2369 and 2375. He was transferred aboard the USS Toronto as Marine Unit Commander. In 2376, Dubins was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel after the Battle for Deep Space Nine and, later in the same year, transfered to command with the rank of Commander.
Dubins is divorced. He is trained as a pilot of Halifax-class light attack ships. |
