As the grandson of an 'assumed' Bajoran traitor, Rojeti never wanted for anything. He spent most of his youth learning to fly cargo freighters for the Cardassian military. When his grandmother turned out of be a operative, Rojeti was captured and handed over to a scientist for experimental torture. After being rescued by Kyle and Team Helix, he joined the team to fill the vacant pilot spot.
After hearing of the courageous things his grandmother did, the teenager wanted to measure up to her standards; however, amongst the other, more experienced members of the team, he felt out of place.
